Lisa Waknin is the Founder and CEO of Silver Sands Recovery, a long-term treatment facility in Prescott, Arizona. Lisa founded Silver Sands Recovery on the belief that every person deserves quality care and deeply personalized treatment that creates real life routines to use for life.
Lisa’s inspiration for her pioneering approach stems from her own family’s experience with addiction, including helping save the lives of her child and stepchild from opioid addictions. Her company has accreditations from the Joint Commission on National Quality Approval, and has won best Treatment Facility in Northern Arizona.
Prior to founding Silver Sands Recovery, Lisa worked for over 30 years in the New York Fashion Industry, leading her division to over $60 million dollars in sales annually. Lisa has been featured on NYC iheart radio, the NJ Asbury Park Press, and multiple podcasts for her expertise on addiction treatment and honored by the Change for Nick Foundation. Lisa has worked tirelessly with thousands of families since 2016 bringing hope and heart into the care of each patient.
