Nayab Mahmood is a Director at Marwood Group, a healthcare-focused global consulting firm, where she advises corporate executives and health investors as they evaluate acquisitions and new geographic markets and service lines. Ms. Mahmood is particularly focused on conducting regulatory, reimbursement, and legislative research delving into state program policy development and holding conversations with commercial payors and Medicaid MCOs to better understand trends around contracting, reimbursement rates, and utilization management of different healthcare services, including behavioral health. Prior to joining Marwood, Ms. Mahmood worked as a Senior Policy Analyst in Corporate Affairs at Sanofi-Aventis and as a Policy Analyst at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy under the Obama Administration. Ms. Mahmood received her MPH in Health Policy and Analysis from Columbia University and B.S. from Cornell University.
