Bio
Anna currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Development for the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). She leads the development and growth of accreditation, contracting and credentialing and the national quality measurement platform. Most notably, Anna successfully passed legislation named after her daughter, Ava, who had been diagnosed with autism. “Ava’s Law” creates access to the diagnosis and treatment for individuals with autism in Georgia regardless of age, funder, or location. Recognized consistently for performance excellence and contributions to the autism field, Anna has over fifteen years of experience in developing policy and advocating at the state and federal level. Additionally, she has developed payor relations to increase access to quality patient centered care while developing capacity for growth. Anna has successfully led teams through acquisitions and worked closely with operational leaders to plant new clinics throughout the US. Her work also extends to school districts where she secured over 8 million dollars in federal funds to support the development of an after-school program for at risk students in rural areas in Georgia. She has worked closely with families and school districts to integrate behavioral health services into programs throughout the country. Anna is responsible for advancing efforts that drive increased nationwide access to quality ABA therapy services. Her work has expanded access to ABA services in some of the most challenging states, identifying unique and complex regulatory issues and then creating the political will to remove barriers.
